About Dan

Hi, I'm Dan. Sometimes I tell the kids my name is Mr. Potatohead. I've been a photographer for over 14 years and have photographed thousands of smiling faces, mostly children.

In my eight years as a school photographer, it's estimated that I photographed over 100,000 kids. I love working with children and believe that patience and understanding are key in getting beautiful portraits and making picture day a positive experience.

I started Skylight Studio to help bring the best possible product to schools, parents and

children without being a faceless company.
